Vitamin D, and the
nutrients around it.

Vitamin D is the nutrient the body can form on its own, in the skin, from light — and one of the most foundational entries in the daily chemistry of the body. Codeage Multivitamin D+ gathers it, in two forms, with the nutrients the literature most often studies alongside it.

I

What vitamin D actually is.

Codeage introduces Multivitamin D+, a new addition to its Daily Foundation pillar — 4,000 IU of vitamin D from both D2 and D3, with vitamin K2, magnesium, zinc, and boron, in a liposomal formula. Its arrival is an occasion to look closely at the nutrient at its center.

Vitamin D is unusual among the vitamins. Most nutrients the body must take in from food; vitamin D it can also make on its own, formed in the skin upon exposure to sunlight. For a nutrient that the body itself can produce, it remains one of the most widely discussed in the literature on daily nutrition — a measure of how foundational, and how variable, it is across lives and latitudes.

It comes in two principal forms. Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is the form associated with sunlight and animal sources. Vitamin D2, or ergocalciferol, is the form derived from plants and fungi. Both are fat-soluble, and both are routes the body uses along the path toward the active vitamin. Codeage Multivitamin D+ provides both — a dual-source approach that draws on each rather than choosing between them.

Because it is fat-soluble and foundational to so much of daily nutrition, vitamin D sits squarely in the base layer of the body's chemistry — the dimension the longevity framework calls the Daily Foundation, the nutrients a longer view is built upon.

The formula, in five parts

Vitamin D, and its company.

Codeage Multivitamin D+ gathers vitamin D with the nutrients the literature most often studies alongside it — each named in the exact form the formula uses.

I

The center

Vitamin D

4,000 IU per serving, drawn from two forms — cholecalciferol (D3) and ergocalciferol (D2). A dual-source approach to the nutrient at the heart of the formula.

II

The companion

Vitamin K2

150 mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-7 (menaquinone-7) — the fat-soluble vitamin most often studied in the literature alongside vitamin D.

III

The mineral

Magnesium

200 mg of magnesium in two forms — di-magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate — a foundational mineral involved in a wide range of the body's enzymatic chemistry.

IV

The trace minerals

Zinc & Boron

15 mg of zinc as zinc picolinate and 3 mg of boron as boron glycinate — two trace minerals that round out the composition.

V

The carrier

Helix Delivery

Codeage Helix Liposomal Delivery — a phospholipid carrier built from non-GMO sunflower lecithin, including phosphatidylcholine, the format chosen for these fat-soluble nutrients.

II

Why these nutrients sit together.

A vitamin D formula could be a single nutrient on its own. Codeage Multivitamin D+ is built differently — as a small, considered composition in which vitamin D is the center and four further nutrients are gathered around it. The logic is the logic of the foundation: the nutrients the literature most often discusses in the same conversation, brought into one daily formula.

Vitamin K2 is the clearest example. A fat-soluble vitamin in the K family, provided here as MK-7, it is one of the nutrients most frequently studied alongside vitamin D in the research literature. Magnesium, a foundational mineral the body draws on across a wide range of its chemistry, is included in two complementary forms. Zinc and boron, two trace minerals, round out the composition. Each has its own literature; together they form a base layer rather than a single note.

It is worth being precise about what this represents. These nutrients have been studied in connection with the body's daily chemistry; the studies referenced were conducted independently and did not involve any specific Codeage product. What the formula reflects is a composition choice — foundational nutrients gathered as a base, within the longer frame of healthy aging — not a set of outcomes any single nutrient can be said to deliver.

The base layer

Foundations are built, not assumed.

Before the precision compounds and the targeted formulas, there is the base layer — the foundational nutrients a longer view is built upon. Vitamin D sits among the most foundational of them all.

III

The dual-source vitamin D.

Most vitamin D formulas provide a single form, usually D3. Codeage Multivitamin D+ provides both D3 and D2 — a deliberate, less common choice. Cholecalciferol, vitamin D3, is the form the body produces in the skin and the one associated with animal sources. Ergocalciferol, vitamin D2, is the form derived from plants and fungi. They are distinct molecules that the body draws on along the same path.

Providing both is a way of drawing on each form rather than choosing between them — a dual-source approach to a single nutrient. It is the kind of decision the house makes formula by formula: not the most common answer, but the one considered for the nutrient in front of it.

The full 4,000 IU of vitamin D per serving is drawn from these two forms together, carried alongside the K2, magnesium, zinc, and boron in the same composition — a single daily formula rather than four separate ones.

Vitamin D from two forms — cholecalciferol (D3) and ergocalciferol (D2).

The question was never only how much.
It was also which forms, and what beside it.

IV

The forms named exactly.

A nutrient is not only its name; it is the form that name takes. Codeage Multivitamin D+ names each form precisely. Vitamin K2 is provided as MK-7, the menaquinone-7 form. Magnesium appears in two forms — di-magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate — rather than a single generic salt. Zinc is provided as zinc picolinate, and boron as boron glycinate.

Naming the forms is part of the discipline. It is the difference between listing a mineral and stating exactly which form of it is present, so that what appears on the label and what the research discusses are the same thing. The formula carries these in the Codeage Helix Liposomal Delivery phospholipid carrier, built from non-GMO sunflower lecithin including phosphatidylcholine — the format chosen for a set of fat-soluble nutrients.

As always, these are research associations under active investigation, not settled outcomes, and the studies referenced were conducted independently of any specific Codeage product. What the formula offers is a legible composition — every nutrient, and every form of it, named in full.

V

How the formula is built.

Codeage Multivitamin D+ is composed as a foundation. Each serving provides 4,000 IU of vitamin D from cholecalciferol (D3) and ergocalciferol (D2), 150 mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-7, 200 mg of magnesium from di-magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate, 15 mg of zinc as zinc picolinate, and 3 mg of boron as boron glycinate — held together in the Codeage Helix Liposomal Delivery phospholipid carrier. One bottle provides 30 servings, a one-month supply.

The formula is non-GMO, with a hypromellose capsule suitable for a vegan formulation, and is formulated without dairy, soy, or gluten. It is manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-certified facility with global ingredients — the same standard that governs every formula across the catalog.

The discipline here is the discipline of the whole house: a meaningful amount of a foundational nutrient, drawn from two forms; a short list of complementary nutrients, each named in its exact form; a delivery format chosen for the chemistry rather than the brand; and a clean label that names what is present and nothing that is not.

VI

Vitamin D, and the long view.

Vitamin D is, in the end, a clear illustration of how Codeage approaches the foundation. A nutrient the body can form from light, drawn here from two forms rather than one. A short company of complementary nutrients — K2, magnesium, zinc, boron — each named in the exact form it takes. And a delivery format chosen for the chemistry rather than the brand.

This is the dimension the Longevity Code describes as Daily Foundation — the base layer of essential nutrients that a longer view is built upon. Codeage formulates with respect for these foundations, within a framework built to reflect how the research has come to understand the body.

Foundations are not assumed; they are built. Codeage Multivitamin D+ is a considered way to build one — composed for the long view, and held to the standard that governs every formula in the healthy aging catalog.
