Codeage · In the World of Sport Codeage at theEuropean Open. From October 19 to 25, 2026, Codeage is proud to partner with the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open, the ATP 250 tournament played at the ING Arena in Brussels, and the eleventh edition of a week that has become a fixture of the European autumn. I A partnership in Brussels. Codeage is proud to partner with the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open (opens in a new tab), the ATP 250 tournament held at the ING Arena at Brussels Expo, from October 19 to 25, 2026. It is the eleventh edition of the tournament, and the second to be played in Brussels after nine years in Antwerp. It is a partnership we entered gladly. Codeage has long been drawn to the world of sport, and to tennis in particular, for what the game asks of the people who play it. Not for a season, but across a career. The qualities a long tennis life calls for are, in many ways, the qualities at the center of how Codeage thinks about the body over time. This partnership is an association with a tournament and with the values the game embodies. It makes no health or performance claim of any kind, for any player, and none is intended. Sport and longevity havealways asked the same question. How does one stay at one's best, not for a moment, but across the long arc of a life? It is the question behind every great career, and the question at the center of how Codeage thinks about the years. What the game asks What tennis and longevity share. The qualities a long tennis career calls for are the same ones at the center of Codeage. A quiet set of disciplines, practiced across time. ‹Previous shared quality›Next shared quality I Precision The exact line Indoors, there is no wind to blame and no sun to read. The ball does what it is told. It is a sport of precision, the same exactness Codeage brings to how a formula is considered, named, and composed. II Patience The long point The attention a long rally asks for, present, unhurried, complete, mirrors the attention that the long view asks of a life. III The long career Built to last Tennis rewards those who last. Careers measured in decades, form held across them. The same idea, carried beyond the court. IV Discipline The daily return The quiet discipline of returning to the court each day, the unglamorous repetition behind every great career, is the discipline of the everyday Codeage believes in most. II Why Codeage believes in sport. There is a reason the world of sport, and tennis especially, sits close to what Codeage is about. An athletic career is one of the clearest illustrations there is of the long view. A body cared for and trained not for a single season but across many, with an eye always on the years still to come. Tennis makes that idea visible. It is a game of precision and patience, of focus held over hours and form held over decades. The players who endure are rarely the ones who burn brightest for a moment. They are the ones who return, day after day, to the same quiet disciplines. That is a philosophy Codeage recognizes, the belief that the long view is built not from grand gestures but from the steady accumulation of how the days are spent. It is the thinking that runs through everything filed under movement and longevity. Codeage promises nothing about how anyone plays, and this partnership makes no such claim. What it offers is an admiration for the discipline, the precision, and the long horizon that the best of sport embodies, and that the study of healthy aging returns to again and again. Precision A career is a long game.So is a life. The discipline that keeps a player at their best across a career is, in spirit, the discipline of the long view. Practiced daily, held over years. III The BNP Paribas Fortis European Open. The tournament is an ATP 250 event played on indoor hard courts at the ING Arena, the hall at Brussels Expo beneath the Atomium that has hosted the week since 2025. The 2026 edition, from October 19 to 25, is the eleventh in the tournament's history, and the second since the event moved to the Belgian capital after nine years at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. The singles draw holds 28 players and the doubles draw 16 teams, with 250 ranking points and 110,055 euros to the singles champion. The tournament is directed by Dick Norman, the former Belgian player who has led the event since 2018, and BNP Paribas Fortis is the title partner. Its place in the calendar, late October, indoors, in the closing weeks of the season, gives the week its particular character: a field arriving at the end of a long year, playing in conditions that leave very little to chance. Details of the week of play can be found at the tournament site (opens in a new tab). Indoors, in late October, where the conditions leave very little to chance. IV A week decided by those who stayed. The two men who reached Sunday's final were, by any reading of the draw, not the two the week was expected to produce. Jan-Lennard Struff arrived in Brussels at 36 years old and ranked outside the top fifty, and left having beaten the sixth-seeded Belgian Zizou Bergs in the quarter-finals and top seed Arthur Fils in the semi-finals, the first German to reach the final in the tournament's history. Across the draw, Tallon Griekspoor was doing something stranger still. He lost the opening set of his quarter-final against second seed Jiri Lehecka and won. He lost the opening set of his semi-final against third seed Francisco Cerundolo and won. He would go on to do it a third time in the final. It is difficult to think of a week that belongs in this article more completely. Two careers measured in years rather than seasons, arriving at the end of a long one, each still finding a way through. Whatever separated them in style, they shared the thing the long view admires above all: they stayed. Through seasons that went well and seasons that did not, through the ordinary and unglamorous work that a career of that length is actually made of. The best careers are not the brightest. They are the ones that last. BNP Paribas Fortis European Open 2026 · Singles Champion Congratulations, Tallon Griekspoor. def. Jan-Lennard Struff, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. On Sunday, October 25, Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands won the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open, recovering from a set down for the third match running to take the title in Brussels. It is the fourth ATP Tour title of his career and his first of the season. The story behind it is a long one. Griekspoor spent years on the Challenger circuit before the tour, and the season that preceded this week was not a straight line. What did not change was the work. A week like this one is rarely built in a week. It is built in the seasons of quiet effort that come before anyone is watching. Congratulations to Tallon Griekspoor, to Jan-Lennard Struff on a remarkable week at 36, to Constantin Frantzen and Robert Galloway in the doubles, and to every player who made the eleventh edition what it was. The qualities the week in Brussels made visible are the ones this house was built around. Precision, focus, and the discipline of lasting, carried into the ordinary days. V Codeage, and the long game. Codeage is proud to be part of the world of sport, and proud to partner with the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open. The game and the philosophy meet at a single point: the conviction that what matters most is not the brilliance of a moment but the quality of a long arc. A career, a body, a life, held with precision and care across the years. That is the idea at the heart of the Longevity Code, and it is the idea we recognized in this tournament from the start. Eleven editions in, the week has become a fixture, and fixtures are what long things turn into. To the players, and to the long game, on the court and beyond it. From everyone at Codeage, our congratulations to Brussels on a brilliant week. The Longevity Code The long game, shared.
