The warmup that
tastes like
the reward.

Codeage Pre-Workout Energy Elite Max in Chocolate Brownie Batter — real Dutch cocoa, two considered complexes, and natural caffeine from green tea, in a single daily scoop for adults for whom training is a discipline.

I

Why the taste is the point.

A pre-workout is, before it is anything else, a habit. And a habit holds only when it is something you look forward to. That is the premise underneath Codeage Pre-Workout Energy Elite Max in Chocolate Brownie Batter: a powder built on real Dutch cocoa, with no artificial flavors, sweetened with stevia leaf and monk fruit — a taste closer to dessert than to anything you have to get through.

Most of the field tastes like a chore. The brownie-batter character here is the opposite of that — the warmup becomes a few minutes you reach for, one scoop mixed in water or the beverage of your choice, settled into the rhythm of an ordinary training day. It sits within Systemic Balance, the pillar of the Longevity Code concerned with the body's interconnected systems and the daily practices that move through them.

Underneath the flavor is a considered formula — two studied complexes and natural caffeine drawn from green tea. The rest of this page reads it closely. But the taste is where it begins, so the formula begins there too.

Codeage Pre-Workout chocolate brownie batter powder with Dutch cocoa

Built on real Dutch cocoa — a chocolate brownie batter character, with no artificial flavors.

A warmup you look forward to
is a warmup you keep.

Most of the field tastes like something to get through. This one was built to taste like the reward — so the ritual is easy to return to.

The formula, in four parts

One scoop, well composed.

Two complexes drawn from the pre-training literature, the caffeine that carries them, and the cocoa that makes the whole thing a pleasure to drink.

I

7.2 g blend

Performance Support Complex

L-Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, and Betaine Anhydrous (TMG) — three of the most extensively studied molecules in the pre-training conversation, gathered as a single 7.2 g complex.

II

2.4 g blend

Focus & Energy Support Complex

L-Tyrosine, L-Taurine, L-Theanine, and Rhodiola rosea root extract — amino acids and an adaptogenic botanical, gathered as a 2.4 g complex.

III

150 mg · green tea

Natural Caffeine

150 mg of caffeine, drawn from green tea rather than synthesized — a moderate amount, roughly that of a large cup of coffee.

IV

The taste

Chocolate Brownie Batter

Real Dutch cocoa, rounded with Himalayan pink salt and sweetened with stevia leaf and monk fruit — a brownie-batter character with no artificial flavors.

II

What is in the scoop.

The heart of the formula is the Performance Support Complex, a 7.2 g blend of three molecules. L-Citrulline is an amino acid the body uses in the production of arginine and, downstream, nitric oxide — a signaling molecule the research literature studies in connection with the dilation of blood vessels and circulation. Beta-Alanine is the amino acid the body combines with histidine to form carnosine, a dipeptide concentrated in muscle tissue and studied in connection with the buffering of the acidity that builds during intense effort; it is also the source of the brief, familiar tingling some feel, known as paresthesia. Betaine Anhydrous, or trimethylglycine (TMG), occurs naturally in beets and functions both as an osmolyte involved in cellular hydration and as a methyl donor in the body's methylation chemistry.

Alongside it sits the Focus and Energy Support Complex, a 2.4 g blend. L-Tyrosine is a precursor the body uses to make dopamine and norepinephrine, neurotransmitters studied in connection with attention and the body's response to demanding conditions. L-Taurine is an amino acid found in high concentration in muscle and nervous tissue. L-Theanine is an amino acid found almost uniquely in tea, examined in the literature alongside caffeine because the pairing is associated with a smoother character than caffeine alone. And Rhodiola rosea, standardized to 3% rosavins, is an adaptogenic root from cold mountainous regions, studied in connection with fatigue and the body's response to stress.

Carrying the two complexes is 150 mg of natural caffeine from green tea — moderate, roughly the amount in a large coffee — together with 115 mg of sodium from Himalayan pink salt, an electrolyte the body loses through sweat, and trace amounts of iron and copper. These molecules have been studied in connection with the mechanisms described here; the studies referenced were conducted independently and did not involve any specific Codeage product.

Before the work

The few minutes
that set the tone.

One scoop, mixed and unhurried — the small ceremony that turns the decision to train into the act of training.

III

A taste built on real cocoa.

The flavor is not an afterthought bolted onto a formula — it is the reason the formula gets used. The chocolate here comes from Dutch cocoa, the alkalized cocoa prized for its deep, smooth, low-bitterness character, the kind that reads as brownie batter rather than as a flat chocolate note. There are no artificial flavors anywhere in the powder.

It is sweetened without sugar, using Reb A from stevia leaf and Luo Han Guo, or monk fruit, extract — two plant-derived sweeteners rather than anything synthetic. A measure of Himalayan pink salt rounds the whole thing, the way a pinch of salt deepens chocolate in a kitchen, while also contributing the sodium named on the panel.

The result is a powder that dissolves into a cup that tastes like the reward, not the chore — which is precisely what makes it easy to reach for, morning after morning. It is also offered in a mixed berry flavor for those who prefer something brighter.

IV

Training, and the long view.

Step back from the scoop for a moment. In the literature of healthy aging, regular physical activity is among the most consistently studied inputs to how the body sustains itself across time — which is why movement, and the daily practices that surround it, belong inside Systemic Balance, the pillar concerned with the body's interconnected systems rather than any single molecule.

A pre-workout does not do the training for you. But the small architecture around a session — the cue, the ritual, the few minutes of warmup — is part of what makes a training practice repeatable, and a repeatable practice is the only kind that compounds. That is the role this formula is built for: not the work itself, but the moment that reliably precedes it.

Which returns, in the end, to the taste. A ritual you enjoy is a ritual you keep, and a thing kept over years is where the long arc of the body is actually written.

V

How the formula is built.

One scoop, about 11.7 g, provides the 7.2 g Performance Support Complex, the 2.4 g Focus and Energy Support Complex, 150 mg of natural caffeine from green tea, and 115 mg of sodium from Himalayan pink salt, with trace iron and copper — flavored with Dutch cocoa and sweetened with stevia leaf and monk fruit. One container provides approximately 30 servings, a one-month supply.

The powder is formulated without dairy, soy, or gluten. Non-GMO. Manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-certified facility with global ingredients — the same standard that governs every formula across the catalog.

This is the dimension the Longevity Code describes as Systemic Balance — the layer concerned with the body's interconnected systems and the daily practices that move through them. Codeage formulates with respect for these foundations, within a framework built to reflect how the field has come to understand the body. A warmup you look forward to is a warmup you keep — and that, in the long view, is the point.
