Liposomal Glutathione
Setria® L-Glutathione
The Longevity Code
The body produces its own antioxidant. This formula is designed to support it.
Glutathione is a tripeptide — a molecule composed of three amino acids — that the body produces naturally. It is present in virtually every cell and has been a consistent subject of published research examining its role in the body's antioxidant systems.
Codeage Liposomal Glutathione delivers 500mg of Setria® L-Glutathione per serving in a liposomal capsule format. NSF-certified. Pillar 03 of The Longevity Code is focused on the body at the cellular level — and glutathione is understood to be among the most abundant molecules the body produces for its own cellular maintenance.
Three amino acids. One molecule.
Glutathione is classified as a tripeptide — a molecule composed of three amino acids bonded together. Each amino acid contributes to the molecular structure, and the combination is what gives glutathione its characteristic properties as studied in the published literature.
L-Cysteine
A sulfur-containing amino acid. The sulfhydryl group in cysteine is understood to be central to glutathione's molecular structure and the properties that have made it a focus of research.
L-Glutamic Acid
One of the most abundant amino acids in the body. Its inclusion in the tripeptide contributes to glutathione's molecular stability and its interactions within the cellular environment.
Glycine
The simplest amino acid. Glycine completes the tripeptide structure — a necessary component without which glutathione's molecular form would not exist.
Setria® L-Glutathione. A trademarked form.
This formula uses Setria® L-Glutathione — a trademarked, fermentation-derived form of L-Glutathione produced through a proprietary process. Setria® is a registered trademark and a branded ingredient used in supplement formulations. Its inclusion in this formula reflects a sourcing and ingredient quality decision.
Reduced L-Glutathione
The "reduced" form refers to glutathione's molecular state — the form in which the molecule is understood to be active within the body. 500mg per two-capsule serving. Delivered in a liposomal format using the Codeage Helix Liposomal system with phospholipids from non-GMO sunflower lecithin, including phosphatidylcholine.
Liposomal delivery is a method of encapsulating active compounds within phospholipid layers. The Codeage Helix Liposomal system uses phospholipids derived from non-GMO sunflower lecithin, including phosphatidylcholine, to encapsulate the Setria® L-Glutathione in this formula.
NSF certification. An independent standard.
NSF International is one of the most recognized independent certification bodies. NSF certification means the product has been independently tested and verified to contain what the label states — at the levels stated — with no undisclosed ingredients. This product carries that certification.
What the literature has explored.
Two areas of published research relevant to the ingredient in this formula — shared as educational context only.
"Research into glutathione has examined its distribution throughout the body's cells and its participation in the body's antioxidant systems, including its role as a substrate for glutathione-related enzymes studied in the context of cellular biology."
"Published studies have examined oral glutathione supplementation in human subjects, including investigations into the characteristics of different dosage forms and delivery formats in the context of nutritional supplementation."
The studies referenced above were conducted independently and did not involve this product. They are cited here solely for educational context regarding the ingredient discussed, and do not represent claims about the intended effects of this formula.
Present in virtually every cell.
Glutathione is understood to be present throughout the body — with concentrations varying by tissue type. Published research has examined its distribution and abundance across different organs and systems.
Liver
The liver is understood to maintain among the highest concentrations of glutathione in the body — consistent with its role as the body's primary metabolic organ.
Lungs
Glutathione is found in the epithelial lining fluid of the lungs. Published research has examined its presence in this tissue in the context of respiratory biology.
Eyes
The lens of the eye is understood to contain glutathione. Published research has examined its distribution in ocular tissue.
Skin
Glutathione is present in skin cells. Its abundance in this tissue has been a subject of dermatological research interest.
Immune Cells
Immune system cells — including lymphocytes — are understood to contain glutathione. Its presence in these cells has been a focus of immunological research.
The format is a formulation decision.
Delivering 500mg of Setria® L-Glutathione in a liposomal capsule format reflects the considerations of the compound — its delivery, dosing, and suitability for daily use.
500mg of trademarked glutathione.
500mg of Setria® L-Glutathione per two-capsule serving. The reduced form — the molecular state in which glutathione is understood to be present in the body's cells.
One month of daily use.
60 capsules per bottle. Two capsules per serving. Designed for a full month of consistent daily use.
Phospholipid delivery.
The Codeage Helix Liposomal system uses phospholipids from non-GMO sunflower lecithin — a liposomal delivery method that has been the subject of growing interest in nutritional science.
Plant-based. Vegan.
The capsule shell is methylcellulose — a plant-derived material. Vegan. Non-GMO. Compatible with a broad range of dietary preferences.
